Canine Good Citizen/Therapy Dog Prep

**Pre-Requisite - must have completed Canine Manners**

6 sessions - 1 hr each for 6 consecutive weeks $240.00 (includes test)

This is an advanced obedience class with a pre-requisite that you have completed our Canine Manners Classes. Whether you want your dog to be a therapy dog or a well-behaved canine good citizen, this class will definitely help improve your dog’s skills. Our classes are tailored to the individual needs and interests of the students. This class is a great way to continue to improve your dog’s skills on

and off leash by offering increased distractions, longer durations, and from a greater distance skills and behaviors.

We will also help you prepare for the ten items on the American Kennel Club’s canine good citizen test. This test is also the test you and your dog must pass to become a therapy dog team. At the end of the six weeks course, you and your dog will be tested by a certified canine good citizen evaluator. Your dog will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club in recognition for a well-behaved dog. This certificate is mandatory if you would like for your dog to become a therapy dog.
